Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Nominated For 39th IRAWMA AWARDS – Full List Of Nominees

Three of Ghana’s musical heavyweights Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been nominated for the annual International Reggae & World Music Awards ( IRAWMA 2021).

Both Shatta and Stonebwoy have been regular nominees for this award due to the genre of music they do and have gone ahead to win it on several occasions.

Stonebwoy has been nominated for the Dancehall Entertainer category, Shatta Wale for the Africam Dancehall Entertainer category while Sarkodie’s “Black Love-Virtual concert” has been nominated for the Virtual Concert of the Year category.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Switch also gained a nomination for the Best Young Entertainer Category while instrumentalist Kwame Yeboah also got nominated for the Best Instrumentalist category.

The theme for this year’s IRAWMA Awards which will be hosted by Jamaica on Sunday, May 2, 2021, is “Reggae & World Music Still Rise”
