Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who doubled as the ruler of Abu and the Preseident of the United Arab Emirates was born on 7th September 1948 Qasr Al-Muwaiji, Al Ain, in Abu Dhabi.
He was the eldest of his parents’ children. Sheikh Khalifa was a graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.

Sheikh Khalifa died on May 13, 2022, at the age of 73.

Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was the father of Sheikh Khalifa. He was the Emir whom Sheikh succeeded.
He was the youngest of fours and was born on May 6, 1918, Qasr AlHosn, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Not only that, but he had married six wives and had 29 children.
He died on November 2, 2004, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Hassa bint Mohammed Al Nahyan
Hassa bint Mohammed Al Nahyan, the mother of Sheikh Khalifa, was the first wife of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. She and her husband were double cousins.
Hassa bint Mohammed Al Nahyan was born 17 June 1922. She died on 28 January 2018 at age 95.
