Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who doubled as the ruler of Abu and the Preseident of the United Arab Emirates was born on 7th September 1948 Qasr Al-Muwaiji, Al Ain, in Abu Dhabi.
He was the eldest of his parents’ children. Sheikh Khalifa was a graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.
On 2 November 2004 he ascended the throne of Abu Dhabi as Emir and the president of the United Arab Emirates.
The Emir had control over some 97.8 billion barrels of oil reserves and was considered one of the richest monarchs in the world.
Sheikh Khalifa died on May 13, 2022, at the age of 73.

Sheikh Khalifa Cause Of Death
The royal family is yet to disclose to the public what they exactly caused the death of Sheikh Khalifa. However, it is common knowledge that he has been suffering from the effects of a stroke he suffered in 2014.
