Former Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng stunned supporters of Hertha Berlin as he celebrated his return to the club with a ‘loyalty’ tattoo.
Boateng finalized a return to his boyhood club on Wednesday after passing his medical test.
The experienced forward returned to the club as a free agent after his deal with Italian Serie B side AC Monza expired at the end of last season.
He penned a two-year contract which will see him at the Olympiastadion until 2022.
Boateng exhibited his love to the Berlin-based side as he plastered onto his body the club’s emblem.
Boateng began his career at the Olympiastadion before moving to Tottenham Hotspur on a four-year deal in July 2007 for a reported £5.4 million.
Having left the Serie B side, he returned to familiar surroundings as a free agent after spells at Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, Genoa, AC Milan, Schalke 04, Las Palmas, Eintracht Frankfurt, Sassuolo, Barcelona, Fiorentina and Besiktas.
He is currently working as football analyst in the ongoing Euro 2020 Championship for German TV ARD.
