Bhagavan “Doc” Antle who starred in the first season of the Netflix series ‘Tiger King’ has been apprehended by the FBI in South Carolina.
According to a report by TMZ, the 62-year-old was arrested and booked into a jail in South Carolina by the FBI for money laundering crimes.
The actor is currently in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center in Horry County, South Carolina, and is scheduled to appear before court next week.
This comes nearly 2 years after his legal battle in Virginia, where he was charged with 2 felony counts related to the trafficking of wildlife.
During the court case in 2020, Ankle revealed in an interview with TMZ that he was shocked and disappointed at the charges that were filed against him.
“I am terribly shocked and disappointed at the charges that have been filed against me by the Commonwealth of Virginia, and how they have sought to involve my daughters in this matter. I categorically deny any act or conduct that could ever be considered as “animal cruelty”
