Aides of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate have said that Bola Tinubu’s constant gaffes are becoming embarrassing.
According to Atiku’s special assistant on public communication, Phrank Shaibu, Tinubu since he declared his presidential ambition has made more than 20 public gaffes.
He indicated in a statement that although his candidate has never contested any legislative election, Tinubu goofed at a rally in Akwa Ibom when he said he made Atiku a senate president.
He added that Bola Tinubu’s gaffes and miscues are the results of his failing health which he reckons is a danger to national security.
Shaibu recalled Tinubu’s promise of recruiting 50 million youth into the Army to curb the unemployment challenge the nation faces.
Atiku Abubakar’s team believes the image of the country will be dented should such miscues occur before world leaders. They go on to say that Bola Ahmed Tinubu who served as governor is a different individual now.
The statement goes further to state that Tinubu of today lacks the capacity to lead a nation of 200 million people majority of whom are living in penury.
The statement concluded that Nigerians have a right to demand that aspirants for public office should be in the best state of health.
