Legendary Ghanaian forward Asamoah Gyan has expressed his desire to meet Samuel Kofi Ampofo famously know as ‘Mona mo bl3.’
Mr. Kofi Ampofo is a mentally challenged man known for the phrase, mona mo bl3, after he reacted to how normal people struggle with paying for everything in life.
In a video sighted on Social Media, the man currently going through recovery said in an interview with Kofi TV, he has so much love for Ghana’s all-time leading scorer, Asamoah Gyan.
The video caught the attention of Gyan, who is ready to meet the man.
“I’m soo touched. The love is deep I have to meet this man,” wrote Asamoah Gyan beneath the video on his Twitter page.
In the over a minute video, Mona mu bl3 was asked to choose between Hearts and Kotoko, which team he supported, he quickly produced Gyan’s name as the only person he likes in sports.

Asamoah Gyan is Ghana’s all time leading scorer with 51 goals in 109 international matches, and he currently plays for Premier Leagur side Legon Cities.
The 35-year-old is also Africa’s all time leading scorer at the FIFA World Cup with six goals in three tournaments, from Germany 2006 to Brazil 2014.
In recent times, he was in the news after Cristiano Ronaldo joined him as players to score in nine major tournaments.
It is not clear if he will return to the senior national team, but his impact on the Black Stars transcended barriers.
