Tyson Fury, an international boxing sensation, has promised to pay Piers Morgan and his wife £1 million if he ever returns to the ring professionally after retiring from the sport in April.
Despite the fact that Tyson proclaimed his retirement from boxing shortly after his knockout victory over Dillian Whyte in April of this year, various reports and rumors suggest that the Heavyweight champion is plotting a comeback with a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Tyson Fury declared he is done with boxing for good during an interview with Pier Morgan on his show Uncensored.
“I still mean it, Piers,’ he said. ’I am not going to be fighting any more professional fights. I’m finished.”
He also stated that he will only return to the ring if he is paid £500,000,000, a figure he recognized as absurd and virtually impossible for any promoter to meet.
“I put a ridiculous number on today. I said I’ll come back for half a billy, half a billion pounds. That’s £500million. If that’s not ridiculous… I don’t know what is!… And then I told you I was done seven weeks ago. And then there’s some talk me having some exhibition fights, but to be honest with you, I can’t see that coming off either. I’ve got no interest in fighting anymore… enough is enough for me.”
