Ghanaian forward Kevin Prince Boateng has made an intriguing revelation concerning his professional career, after admitting that he left the Bundesliga in the wrong moment.

Prince Boateng’s future looked bright at the age of 20, with European giants after his signature, while he was playing for Hertha Berlin.

The German-born player decided to leave and join England based team Tottenham, and in an interview with Hertha Berlin, Kelvin said it was his fault that he didn’t stay for one or two seasons to further his career in the Germany national team.

While playing for Germany at U19, U20, and U21 level, K.P Boateng decided to switch to Ghana in the year 2010.

He became the prodigal son of German football after a tackle against Michael Ballack led to the then Germany captain’s absence during World Cup 2010.

Prince Boateng was however a hero in Ghana following a successful World Cup with the Black Stars in South Africa.

The situation will be different in the next four years, when he and Sulley Muntari were sacked from the Black Stars camp for indiscipline during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
