Ghanaian teenager Kingsley Asante Ofori scored for SJK Akatemia, but it wasn’t enough as they fell short 3-2 against Pepo Lappeenranta at the Finland’s Kakkonen Cup final on Saturday.
Ofori scored a goal for the visitors in the 7th minute to calm the team’s nerves at the home of their foes.
The player showed incredible skill and wit to cut into the left with his right foot, close to the centre circle. He then moved through the middle, being able to fight off the hordes of midfielders and defenders. He managed to hit the ball towards the right upper corner.
Kingsley Asante Ofori is the top scorer with 15 goals in 20 games in the Group C in the Finnish Kokkone League.
His performance has been a convincing case for being named the MVP of the season.
