VIDEO: “When You Are Sick, Got To The Cathedral For Treatment” – Avram Ben Moshe Jabs Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta

Outspoken Ghanaian social media sensation, Avram Ben Moshe has lambasted the government for urging citizens to contribute GHS100 monthly for the construction of the National Cathedral.

It would be vividly recalled that the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta during the mid-year budget review revealed that the government is about launching the “Ketewa Biara Sua” fund for Ghanaians to donate GHS100 monthly towards the construction of the National Cathedral.

“Work on the National Cathedral is progressing speedily and following the program of the contractor. The National Cathedral is expected to be officially commissioned on March 6, 2024. Upon completion, the National Cathedral will provide a space for formal religious activities of state and symbolize the enormous contribution of faith to nation-building,” the Minister said.

“This state and church partnership envisaged by the president to develop the National Cathedral is on course. An initiative; the GHC100 a month also dubbed “Ketewa Biara sua” will be launched by the trustees of the National Cathedral on August 12, 2021, to give as many Ghanaians as possible the opportunity to be part of the history of the National Cathedral,” he further stated.

In reaction to that, the leader of the Common Sense Family(CSF) has blasted the Finance Minister for ignoring the health sector to champion the construction of the Cathedral.

He said that the Finance Minister should desist from running to the States for medical treatment and rather go to the Cathedral for treatment since he believes that the completion Cathedral will solve the issues Ghanaians are facing.
