Ghanaian rapper Medikal who is following closely Shatta Wale’s court appearance today, has been detained for displaying an assault weapon in a short video posted on social media.
The Ghanaian artist, in a post to his Instagram stories, is seen holding an assault weapon, which led Ghana Police to go after the rapper.
He was taken to the police station by officers and is now in custody of the police.
Medikal had a date with wife Fella Makafui at Fella Makafui’s home at Accra Regional Police Command charge office.
Although the video was removed off the rapper’s Instagram accounts by the rapper, netizens quickly spotted the video before it was removed out of the rapper’s Instagram stories.
According to source, Medikal has been denied bail.
