The year is already hard on famous Mzansi singer, Babes Wodumo as she is mourning for the third time in a row.
The ‘Gandaganda’ crooner ended the year 2022 on a sad note after losing her husband, Mampintsha, before losing her mother-in-law, Zuma Gumede.
As if that was not disheartening enough, she has lost an uncle who had successfully undergone a heart surgery a few months ago.
“The operation was very successful, so we were not expecting this to happen. uMalume was fine yazi. He passed on at home. We thought after the heart operation he would be okay,” Nondumiso Simelane, the singer’s sister revealed.
Speaking about her sister’s current emotional state, she explained that she was totally broken as a result of the recent occurrences in their family. Seh added that she needs to take some time off the stage to deal with the trauma she is going through now .
“What have we done? uMa is not okay at all. They were very close, and she is not taking the news well. People think that Babes is not pitching for events because she is problematic, but everything has just become too much, and she needs time out. We closed the year off badly and we are starting out badly We hope things will change,” she added.
