Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has declared that Nottingham Forest will continue to push until the end of the season as they look to avoid relegation.
After 26 games into the English Premier League season, Nottingham Forest is lying 14th on the league table.
In an interview with the media, he revealed the team’s current position raises a lot of eyebrows but the side is determined to keep battling to escape the drop.
Andre Ayew missed a last-time penalty in their game against Tottenham Hotspurs which they lost by 3-1 at the Tottenham stadium.
He said everybody who wears a Forest shirt knows it’s not going to be easy, but they are going to keep believing in themselves.
And if anyone were to say they will be where they are after 26 games, a lot of people would be happy which is a fact.
Ayew insists the results will come, but their problem is they are facing teams that have been together for four or five years, who have their own style of play and their own ideas, but it’s not time to panic.
