One of Ghana’s most respected football administrators, Lawyer Kwame Ntow Fianko, has expressed his candid video on suggestions that the tenure of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) should be increased.
There are suggestions on the corridors of the GFA for the extension of the two terms of the GFA presidency to be made three terms.
Lawyer Kwame Ntow Fianko who was speaking in an interview on Original FM has called on clubs to resist the attempts by the review committee to amend the statutes.
The current two-term mandate of the GFA president was drafted by the ad-hoc Normalization Committee (NC) after the infamous expose’ by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas called Number 12; the expose’ brought Ghana football to a standstill and led to some reforms.
While the deliberations go on Lawyer Kwame Ntow Fianko insists that they should maintain the Ghana football association law article 37 (4) of the football association’s statute.
