Ghana Is Struggling To Score Goals Because There Is No Striker Like Asamoah Gyan – Former Black Stars Midfielder Agyemang-Badu

Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes the Black Stars lack a prolific striker like Asamoah Gyan.

The Black Stars fired blank in the friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast last week raising questions about the team’s attack ahead of upcoming international assignments.

Agyemang-Badu who retired from the national team at 29, waded into the ongoing debate insisting current forward Jordan Ayew is more of an auxiliary striker than the main man.

Gyan has not played for the Black Stars since the Nations Cup in 2019 and remains Ghana’s all-time leading scorer with 51 goals.
