Red Hot Chili Peppers Cancel Glasgow Concert After Illness

A few hours prior to the concert, the Red Hot Chili Peppers canceled their Glasgow performance due to illness.

The band who were scheduled to perform on Friday night at the Bellahouston Park in a brief statement to their fans said: “are working on ways to reschedule this show” and “are working on ways to reschedule this show.”

They also told fans to hold onto their purchased tickets in wait for a new date for the concert.

“Due to illness RHCP will not be able to perform in Glasgow tonight July 1. We are working on ways to reschedule. Pls hold onto your tickets & wait for an update soon. RHCP love Scotland & are deeply disappointed not to be able to perform the show. Thank you for your understanding.”

The Glasgow performance would have been Red Hot Chili Peppers’ first performance in the city since their last performance in the city in 2016 — 6 years ago.
