I Became A Stripper Because I Was Abused As A Child – Jessica Cunningham Reveals

Famous businesswoman, actress, model and television personality, Jessica Cunningham has revealed that she became a stripper because of some traumas she suffered during her childhood.

The 35-year-old Apprentice star explained that she “become a stripper” before establishing her business and put herself in vulnerable situations as a result of the trauma, which persisted for almost six years, in an exclusive interview with MailOnline.

Jessica openly admitted that the upsetting incidents had destroyed her sense of “self-worth and self-respect” for her body and left her lacking in self-assurance.

“Why I became a stripper and why I had no respect for my body. Why I lacked confidence because when somebody does that to you at such a young age, they take away your self-worth and your self-respect for your body. They violate it, and I grew up violating my body by putting myself in really vulnerable situations. It’s just mental.”

She added that she has not been able to seek justice because the cops told her they lack evidence even though there were witnesses who agreed to her allegations.

“I went to the police about it, and they said they had a really strong case, but only three or four months ago the police told me that the case wasn’t strong enough. They said because it was a historic case they’ve no evidential evidence. Bearing in mind they’d spoken to witnesses who agreed with what I was saying, but because I’d no tangible evidence, he couldn’t be charged. When all these memories came back, so did an understanding of why I used to go out all the time and drink.”
