Reports in the media have it that, the new Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton will earn a monthly salary of $50,000.00.
Chris Hughton was unveiled as the head coach of the senior men’s national team on Monday morning in Kumasi.
The experienced manager put pen to paper on a 21-month contract which is subject to a performance review. He replaces Otto Atto who left the role in December after leading the Black Stars to an early exit at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Several media reports say the former Brighton and Hove Albion manager will earn $50,000.00 monthly as Black Stars’ head coach.
Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng who assisted former coach Otto Addo will remain in their positions, having already had a working relationship with the new coach who used to be the technical advisor to the team during the World Cup playoffs against Nigeria.
The Black Stars will host the Palancas Negras at the Baba Yara Stadium on March 23 before traveling to Luanda for the return game.
The playing body is expected to hold a training session tonight.
