Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, a board member of Accra Hearts of Oak has condemned the decision to extend the current term of the GFA presidency from two to three.
It has been reported that the current term of the GFA presidency is under review and will be put before congress.
Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe who is against the move has said there was a reason for the two-term limit and is, therefore, ready to resist any attempt at changing it.
He believes it is the wrong path to take because it will create a dictatorship which will make the leadership of the FA perform worse.
The former chairman of the Ghana Football Association disclosed that Kwesi Nyantokyi failed because of his decision to impose himself in perpetuity.
He called on current leaders to learn from the mistakes of their predecessors, adding that there are reasons timelines are attached to certain positions.
