Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu is set to make an injury return for Southampton as they prepare to face Manchester United this weekend.
Mohammed Salisu has missed the last four matches for the Saints after picking a knock in their match against Wolves on 11 February.
Since the new Southampton manager, Ruben Selles took over from the former manager Nathan Jones, the Ghana defender has not played a game for the Saints.
Salisu missed the Premier League games against Chelsea, Leeds United, and Leicester City and the shocking FA Cup defeat to Grimsby Town.
Media reports have it that the 23-year-old has fully recovered and is likely to feature for his team when they take on Manchester United on Sunday.
In a team that is facing relegation, the Ghanaian is expected to play a major role in their relegation escape charge.
The defender has been named in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola.
