Dr. Musa Alih Jaba, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Tuesday, cautioned that if the current fuel and new notes scarcity is not nibbed in the bud, it may affect the outcome of this year’s general election.
He says that Nigerians are been subjected to penury, pain, and hunger due to the current policy decisions.
Dr. Jaja spoke to the media at the ongoing Kaduna International Trade Fair where he disclosed that the scarcity of the redesigned Naira note has affected all spheres of life.
He questioned how voters are expected to come out to vote when there are no vehicles to convey them to polling stations. And how families who have not had food to eat because they cannot withdraw their money from the bank are expected to vote.
Dr. Jaba on the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the President Buhari-led government to urgently intervene in the ongoing scarcities with a view to resolving them urgently.
