After issuing a statement urging President Akufo-Addo to de-escalate the volatile situation at Ejura yesterday, former President Mahama has visited victims.
He made this visit in the company of party officials in the Ashanti Region to the hospital to sympathize with individuals who have sustained varying degrees of injuries following the shooting by the military and police.
Mr Mahama was seen moving from bed to bed as he commiserated with the victims.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians feel the 2020 NDC flagbearer is just there to score political points. They feel he has his own agenda which is to present himself as a better leader to the people ahead of the 2024 election.
