Born on July 6, 1952, in Glossop, United Kingdom, Hilary Mantel, was a British writer whose work includes historical fiction, personal memoirs and short stories.
Every Day is Mother’s Day is her first novel which was published in 1985.
The late actress who married twice but did not have kids, won the Booker Prize two times. She first won it for the 2009 novel Wolf Hall, a fictional account of Thomas Cromwell’s rise to power in the court of Henry VIII, and secondly was for its 2012 sequel Bring Up the Bodies.

Mantel passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 70 following a massive stroke.
Her friend in a statement wrote;
“It is with great sadness that A.M. Heath and HarperCollins announce that bestselling author Dame Hilary Mantel DBE died suddenly yet peacefully yesterday, surrounded by close family and friends, aged 70.
“Hilary Mantel was one of the greatest English novelists of this century and her beloved works are considered modern classics.
“She will be greatly missed.”
