American comedian Michael Blankson has made another controversial comment after he had earlier said that compared to their Nigerian colleagues, Ghana has only four recognizable artists.
Earlier in the years, while speaking on the American podcast “Drink Champs”, Blankson stated that Ghana has only four superstars. He went on to mention Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Black Sherif as the only superstars in Ghana.
Michael Blankson said Nigeria on the other hand has well over twenty megastars.
This comment led to many fans of several Ghanaian artists to question the sanity of the comedian.
He has, however, thrown another bomb by claiming he does not know who award-winning dancehall/reggae artist Samini is.
The revelation was made in a conversation with Shatta Wale in his in-house studio when the dancehall artist asked him to throw more light on his controversial comment.
Michael Blankson stated that he has no idea who Samini is because he is not a superstar.
He then called on Ghanaians to forgive him for not knowing all the superstars in the music industry
