Nappy Roots rapper Fish Scales is indeed one chap for surviving gunshot wounds after he was robbed and kidnapped outside an Atlanta brewery he co-owns.
According to the police, two thieves robbed a customer in the parking area before forcing Scales into his car at gunpoint inside Atlantucky Brewery. Scales was shot in the leg during a scuffle before the robbers drove him up the road to his home in a nearby suburb, where he was able to flee.
Though law enforcement officers are yet to make any arrest, Fish Scales’ vehicle has been recovered with the rapper receiving medical care.
Announcing the news, Nappy Roots in a statement said, “Last night our brother, Scales was a victim of an attempted robber on the evening of August 17 in Atlanta after closing our brewery, Atlantucky. We are blessed to say that he is stable and in good spirits after suffering a leg injury.”
