Ghanaian international Razak Braimah, who is currently plying in the trade of Spanish club Linares Deportivo, says he is delighted to hear that Black Stars of Ghana have been granted a place into the World Cup play-offs for Qatar 2022.
As per the player taking a look at the experiences with coach Milovan Rajavic, and the current mix of players under the leadership of Andre Dede Ayew, Ghana could make history once again.
“Coach Milo is a very good coach with a lot of experience. Looking at the players that we have now, you could see there is youth and experience at the same time. I know the boys are determined and focused, so I’m sure we can progress to the extent of going far at the World Cup.”
He added that with proper plans, Ghana can set another record in Qatar next year.
“We have a lot of quality players who are still around from the last Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, plus some talented need boys to make history.”
Braimah (34) played for a variety of elite teams across Spain including Córdoba and also with South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.
The current top African goalkeeper in his area, Braimah delivered high performances in the Primera Division RFEF side last season, helping them to reach the play-offs.
The club he is currently with, Linares Deportivo occupies 14th Position in his league chart.
“I rejoined the team because things were not moving as expected, but ever since I came, we have been able to win all our matches.”
