Veteran Ghanaian musician cum political and social commentator, A Plus, born Kwame Asare Obeng has revealed that he suffered a similar fate as Samini in the hands of ace rapper Sarkodie.
Sarkodie was recently lambasted by a host of Ghanaian musicians who claimed that Sarkodie continuously aired their messages when they needed his help on their projects even though they helped him when he needed them.
Adding his voice to Sarkodie’s accusers, A Plus revealed that he suffered a similar fate as Sarkodie ignored his calls for two good years.
Speaking during last week’s United SHowbiz program on UTV, the singer explained that he had met the rapper and had gone to his house to sit and eat. However, after that meeting, the rapper ignored his calls.
“We had a pending conversation, so I decided to call him. I have been calling him for the past two years and no response… Although I was pained, I understand that nobody owes anyone,” he revealed.
Even though scores in the music industry are lashing out at Sarkodie, Wendy Shay recently took to social media to thank the rapper for stepping out for her when she needed a rapper to jump on her songs after her debut in 2018.
