The head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Slavko Matic has called on the club’s fans to maintain their support for the team following their exit from the FA Cup competition.
The Phobians fell to a 1-0 defeat against Dreams FC in the Round of 32 games at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Still Believes took the lead through Agyenim Boateng’s goal in the 10th minute which was enough to give them qualification to the Round of 16.
In a post-match interview, Slavko Matic revealed that a lot goes on behind the scenes which the fans have no idea of, therefore they need to throw their support behind the squad.
He urged the fans to support the team rather than him because they are not aware of what is going on behind the scenes at the club.
Hearts of Oak have been without a win in their last two league meetings, picking two draws against King Faisal and Samartex before the Dreams clash.
Accra Hearts of Oak will face Medeama SC in their next match.
