There Is Space In Women’s Football For A Lot Of Growth – Prosper Addo

Ghana Football Association General Secretary Prosper Addo has stated there is a lot of room in women’s football in Ghana for a lot of growth and development.

He made the statement during a media interaction put together by Guinness Ghana who is the headline sponsor of the Ghana Women’s Premier League.

In attendance at the program was the Marketing Manager of Malta Guinness, Diana Adu Asare, and the Brands Manager of Malta Guinness, Wilmar Amo-Osae.

Also in attendance were management committee members of the Women’s Premier League Board; Cleopatra Nketia, Jerry Dugbartey, and Christian Mensah.

The FA’s chief scribe said that when men’s football is spoken about it is nothing new but FIFA has said that women’s football is for the future and has room for growth. He went on to say that there is space in women’s football for innovation and growth.

He, therefore, called on interested parties to channel their resources and energies toward women’s football and expressed the executive council of the FA’s desire to continue to invest in women’s football.
