Ezra Miller is currently receiving treatment to help him deal with a number of “complex mental health challenges” he is currently facing.
The Flash star apologized for his acts and declared that he was “committed” to healing after his recent behavior alarmed and angered many.
It comes after Miller was accused of breaking into a home in Vermont, for which they are scheduled to appear in court in Vermont in September.
The past few months have been filled with controversy for Miller, who prefers the pronouns they/them. He was twice detained in Hawaii on suspicion of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct at a karaoke bar.
He was also recently accused of grooming a 12-year-old as well as hosting a woman and three children at their farm.
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” Ezra said.
